There are two shows on the philatelic docket this week.
First up is the Brantford Stamp Club Annual Show and Bourse, which will be hosted Jan. 12 by the Brantford Stamp Club at the Branlyn Community Centre on 283 Brantwood Park Rd. in Brantford, Ont.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 3 p.m., and the bourse will include about 15 dealers, several categories of stamp exhibits (including special categories for junior and novice collectors), two silent auctions, club circuit books and door prizes. Admission and parking are both free.
MONCTON, N.B.
Also on Jan. 12 is the latest Moncton Stamp Fair, which is held monthly from October to May at the Royal Canadian Legion on 100 War Veterans Ave. in Moncton, N.B.
Hosted by the Fundy Stamp Collectors Club, the show runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There are “usually between four and six dealers,” according to organizers, as well as a live auction at 1 p.m. Admission and parking are both free.
