Swiss Post commits $100M to business strategy

Swiss Post has announced its ambitious “Swiss Post of Tomorrow” business strategy for 2025-28, committing 100 million Swiss francs (about $151 million CDN) to revamp its branch network, integrate digital and physical services, and empower its employees.

Responding to evolving consumer needs, Swiss Post will transform 600 self-operated branches into multifaceted service centres. The centres will collaborate with banks, health insurers, insurance companies and public authorities to provide a comprehensive range of services. In areas where maintaining self-operated branches is no longer viable due to reduced demand, Swiss Post will implement alternative solutions, such as the “branches with partners” model or home service options.

Swiss Post also plans to expand its expertise in goods logistics and enhance its profile in the advertising market. The strategy includes strengthening mobility services with flexible and sustainable solutions for both business and private customers. In its commitment to digital transformation, Swiss Post will offer secure data handling for individuals, companies, and public authorities. Additionally, the company is investing in an emission-free fleet to achieve net-zero emissions across its entire value chain by 2024.
