The Philatelic Specialists Society of Canada (PSSC), an invite-only group of specialists across the gamut of philatelic interests, has a two-fold objective.
Aside from maintaining a group of “advanced and mature philatelists with diverse specialized interests,” the PSSC’s Constitution notes the organization must “foster philatelic research and study by appropriate means.”
The fruits of this research comprise an expansive section of the PSSC website, philatelicspecialistssociety.com, which offers more than 100 presentations, exhibits and publications to the public for free.
As of the beginning of the year, 108 presentations have been viewed 56,894 times (with an average of 527 views a presentation), according to PSSC officials. Seven presentations have been viewed at least 1,000 times while another three videos have topped 900 views.
The website also has a members-only area, which includes an archive of the annual PSSC Journal, member biographies and other member services.
