The new venue for the Canadian Stamp Dealers’ Association’s National Postage Stamp Show is garnering positive reviews from both dealers and collectors attending the popular show near Toronto.
Hall 3 of the International Centre at 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, is the new home for the three-day show. It was previously being held at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto.
Attendance Friday was brisk, especially in the morning and early afternoon.
Show organizer John Sheffield said feedback overall on the new venue ‘is very positive.’
The new venue offers free parking and access to the GO transit service.
More than 30 dealers from across Canada, the U.S. and Great Britian are selling and buying stamps as well as stamp supplies. There is also a kids table, and Canadian Stamp News is offering a special subscription offer as well as selling a variety of magnifers.
The show continues today, opening at 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and returns on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Admission is free.
