Toronto’s First Post Office is hosting its monthly drop-in session for letter writers today from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
“Post-a-Letter Sundays” is hosted by the post office’s “stationery-smitten gals,” Jessica Lewis, founder of The Paper Trail Diary blog, and Andrea-Raymond Wong, co-founder of the “Q&A Letterbox” stationery subscription service.
Lewis shares her love of books, snail mail, zines and crafts on her blog The Paper Trail Diary. The blog also includes a shop featuring the zines The Chain Letter Short Story Project and This is What It’s Like to be a Stationery Nerd. She loves writing to her pen pals all over the world, finding new things to make out of scrapbook paper and reading as much as she can.
Wong loves snail mail and stationery so much she wrote a letter everyday in 2014 and 2015. She’s also a collaborator with Pretty Postal, organizing themed snail mail swaps.
