The Postal History Society of Canada (PHSC) has cancelled its annual symposium for the second year in a row.
This year’s show was scheduled to come to the Hamilton Sheraton Hotel in Hamilton, Ont., on July 16-18. It’s the latest major summer show to fall victim to COVID-19. Both the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada Convention in June and the British North America Philatelic Society Convention in September have also been cancelled.
Instead of forgoing this year’s show entirely, PHSC Symposium organizers will replace the three-day in-person event with a one-day virtual seminar series held via Zoom on July 17. Organizers are expected to announce more details, including registration information, soon.
