The latest addition to the United States Postal Service’s Floral Geometry collection is the newly issued $1 Floral Geometry stamp. This complements the existing $2 and $5 stamps from 2022, along with a $10 stamp released in 2023.
Known for their elegant and contemporary aesthetic, Floral Geometry stamps enhance the appearance of packages, large envelopes, and other mailings.
Featuring a captivating array of overlapping geometric shapes, including circles, ovals, and stars, the stamp art mirrors the intricate symmetry found in floral patterns in nature. As the stamp denominations increase from $1 to $10, the designs progressively evolve to become more intricate. The $1 stamp, adorned in blue, exudes a sense of simplicity and sophistication.
Each stamp’s background was meticulously hand-painted and scanned, while the white geometric lines and typography were digitally incorporated. A foil treatment was applied during printing to impart an elegant shimmer to the design.
Designed and crafted by Spaeth Hill, with artistic direction by Antonio Alcalá, the $1 Floral Geometry stamp will be available in panes of 10
