John Beddows hosts second Gananoque show

John S. Beddows, the son of late dealer John Beddows, drew 10 dealers and several dozen collectors from across Ontario and Québec to his second annual Gananoque Stamp Show on Aug. 6.

The owner of Beddows Philatelics and a 30-year Canadian Forces veteran, Beddows called the one-day event “the best show in Ontario to bring your non-collecting family along.”

“Gananoque offers wonderful sightseeing, restaurants and activities to keep the family occupied while you pursue your passion for stamps.”

Next year’s show will take place in Gananoque – known as the “gateway to the Thousand Islands” and about 30 kilometres east of Kingston – on July 31.
