As it does every spring, Motivgruppe Musik, an international philatelic study group focused on “music on stamps,” has invited all collectors to vote for the most popular music stamp of the past year.
After the philatelic Beethoven Festival the previous year, some postal administrations honoured their country’s respective musical personalities and traditions in 2021. Motivgruppe Musik members have chosen 66 candidates from about 380 issues on the subject of music now available for a vote at the club’s website.
Voting ends on July 31. The designer of the most popular music stamp 2021 will be awarded the Yehudi Menuhin Trophy, and a philatelic gift will be raffled off among all participants in the vote.
