Canada Post has unveiled its 2025 Community Foundation fundraising stamp, featuring a heartwarming illustration of giraffes caring for their young – a symbolic nod to the compassion and support needed to help Canadian children and youth thrive.
Now available at post offices and online, the new stamp was designed by Paprika and illustrated by Anne-Julie Dudemaine. It features lighthearted typography created exclusively for this issue, with imagery chosen by Canada Post employees to represent what childhood should be: joyful, nurturing and carefree. Funds raised from the sale of the stamp and related products support the Canada Post Community Foundation, a registered charity that provides grants to grassroots organizations, schools and charities across the country. Since 2012, the Foundation has awarded more than $14.8 million to over 1,300 community projects in every province and territory.
A $1 surcharge from each booklet of 10 stamps, along with 10 cents from every Official First Day Cover and postcard sold, goes directly to the Foundation. All funds raised support programming for children and youth up to age 21, with 100 per cent of proceeds going toward local and national initiatives that foster stronger, healthier communities.
