What are your most used and trusted philatelic supplies, and why?

It has to be the tongs first – les pinces d’abord! Got to have them to sort, to examine, to store… The the magnifying glass, since I can’t see small type any more! C’est ben trop petit pour mes vieux yeux, hélas. Then mounts and albums, so I can leaf through history, time, space, architecture, art history… C’est un beau voyage à travers mes souvenirs d’enfance et de mes enfants aussi. Lastly, le catalogue, so I can look up subjects, find the right stamp number for placement in the correct spot in the albums. The more I think about this, I can’t possibly pick one favourite supply – they are all important for the various reasons cited, and many more. Amusez-vous, les chums!
