The Edmonton Spring National Stamp Show, hosted by the Edmonton Stamp Club, will take place March 29-30 at the Central Lions Senior Citizens Recreation Centre. As the only national-level stamp show in Western Canada for 2025, it will feature competitive exhibits, dealers, seminars and special displays.
The Edmonton Stamp Club, founded in 1912, is one of Canada’s oldest and most active philatelic organizations. It promotes stamp collecting through regular meetings, educational programs and exhibitions. The annual Edmonton Spring National has been a major event on the Canadian philatelic calendar for decades, drawing collectors and exhibitors from across Canada and beyond. Recognized as a World Series of Philately event, it has helped many top exhibitors advance to the American Philatelic Society’s Champion of Champions competition.
This year’s show carries the theme, “The 80th Anniversary of the End of World War II and Canada’s Role,” with special recognition for exhibits related to this topic. Exhibitors will be eligible for Royal Philatelic Society of Canada medals, ranging from bronze to large gold, along with various specialized awards. The show provides a final opportunity for a grand award winner to qualify for the Champion of Champions exhibition, provided the show features more than 100 exhibit frames.
