Continuing an annual tradition dating back a quarter-century, the national-level Expojafil exhibition will be held this fall—but this year, it’s virtual.
Held in Guadalajara, Mexico, Expojafil 2020 will take place on Oct. 17-24. The exhibition will feature 13 classes, including traditional, postal history, postal stationery, aerophilately, astrophilately, thematic, maximaphily, youth, literature, revenues, one frame, open and picture postcard.
The deadline for applications is Aug. 17, and there is no entry fee.
Canada and other members of the Federación Inter-Americana de Filatelia (FIAF) are invited to submit exhibits, which will be judged using Fédération Internationale de Philatélie guidelines.
The FIAF is one of three continental philatelic organizations, including the Federation of European Philatelic Associations and the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately.
Anyone interested in exhibiting at Expojafil is invited to contact David McLaughlin, chair of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada international liaison committee, at david.mclaughlin@rogers.com.
