Boston 2026 receives grant from American Helvetia Philatelic Society

Boston 2026 World Expo has received a $2,500 grant from the American Helvetia Philatelic Society (AHPS), the largest English-language organization dedicated to Swiss philately.

The grant, part of AHPS’s “$26 for ’26” fundraising campaign, will support the society’s activities at the upcoming international stamp exhibition. AHPS Treasurer Bruce Marsden confirmed that the board approved the grant to enhance the society’s presence at the event.

“We are excited to partner with Boston 2026,” said AHPS President Steven Opheim. “This grant reflects our members’ dedication to Swiss philately and their commitment to advancing the hobby through international events like Boston 2026 World Expo.”

AHPS connects over 200 members across 35 U.S. states and eight countries, offering a vibrant community for collectors of Swiss and Liechtenstein philately. The society holds monthly Zoom meetings, publishes the award-winning TELL journal, and maintains an active Facebook group. Its website features an extensive online library filled with Swiss philatelic research and resources.

At Boston 2026, AHPS will host events and share a society table with United Nations Philatelists Inc. (UNPI), the world’s largest organization focused on UN philately. Attendees are encouraged to visit the table and meet with members of both societies during the eight-day exhibition.

Boston 2026 will take place from May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Full details are available at Boston2026.org and on social media. Be sure to sign up for email updates to stay informed on the latest news about the show.
