The Calgary Philatelic Society (CPS) is set to mark its 100th anniversary in 2022 with a national-level show and exhibition.
Recently sanctioned by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), the show will be co-hosted by the British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS) in conjunction with its annual convention, BNAPEX, and feature both British North America (BNA) and non-BNA competitive exhibits.
Calgary has previously hosted six BNAPEXs (2017, 2012, 2007, 1985, 1973 and 1966) throughout the convention’s 72-year history.
Next year’s BNAPEX will be held in Winnipeg by the Winnipeg Philatelic Society from Sept. 3-5, 2021.
This year’s show, slated for Sept. 4-6 in Halifax, was cancelled in April due to COVID-19.
