APS offering $150 prize for best Canadian exhibit at StampShow 2017

The American Philatelic Society (APS) is offering a $150 prize for the best Canadian exhibit at the upcoming APS StampShow 2017.

Exhibitors of all classes are still being sought for the Aug. 3-6 show in Richmond, Va.; however, because this year’s StampShow will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation, organizers are encouraging exhibitors of Canadian material to submit entries.

The prospectus and entry form are available online, and the deadline to enter is June 1.

STAMPSHOW 2017 JUDGES

Aside from esteemed Canadian philatelist and judge Charles Verge, this year’s StampShow jury panel includes Chief Judge Tim Bartshe, of Colorado; Ed Andrews, of North Carolina; Darrell Ertzberger, of Virginia; Rob Henak, of Wisconsin; Yamil Kouri, of Massachusetts; Ron Lesher, of Maryland; Joan Orr, of Australia; Pat Walker, of Florida; FIP Option Jury Bob Odenweller, of Ohio; and James Mazepa, of Florida.
